Technical trainings of cultivation practices of ginger, turmeric and chilly have been conducted for 8 different farmer’s group of Myagde RM of ward no. 3, 4 & 6 in different dates and venue as follows:

The training was conducted at the respective farmer group sites in Wards 3, 4, and 6 of Myagde Rural Municipality, focusing on organic production practices for ginger, turmeric, and chilly. Participants were trained on seed treatment with *Trichoderma*, improved FYM, botanical pesticides, livestock urine management, Bordeaux mixture, mulching, green manure, vermin-compost, crop rotation, and legume integration, along with land preparation, seed rate, planting methods, intercultural operations, pest and disease management, and harvesting. Special emphasis was given to chilly nursery management and the selection of suitable varieties according to elevation, with Akabare chilly recommended for higher areas and NP 1701 for relatively lower areas; participants appreciated the practical, site-based training and committed to adopting the recommended practices while requesting continued technical support during cultivation. The training commence on 23rd March and completed on 29th March 2026.
