TOLI accomplished its 32nd general assembly

TOLI organized its 32nd General Assembly on September 27, 2025 at the conference hall of the TOLI. The general assembly was chaired by Mr. Padma Kiran Rana the chairperson of the TOLI, whereas welcome speech was made by Mr. Thakur Giri the member of executive committee. Before commence the program, the national anthem was played and the national anthem was followed by all the participants. Ms. Gita Chhetri the treasurer presented the audit report of fiscal year (FY) 2024/25 and also presented the income and expenditure of FY 2025/26, whereas Mr. Dhan Bahadur Rana the secretary presented the progress report of FY 2024/25. Both the audit report and progress reports presented by the treasurer and the secretary was passed by the house. During that time Mr. Padma Kiran Rana informed the major decisions made by executive committee during FY 2024/25 in respect to the provided new membership, received IPSI membership, world environment day celebration, trees cutting to save building at Eklekhet, changing of treasurer post and so on.

Similarly, the chairperson proposed to deduct the amount Rs. 49084.94 seen cash in hand of then Program Coordinator Mr. Ram Raj Parajuli as recommended by executive board meeting which was held on September 18, 2025, the assembly endorsed the recommendation.

On that occasion, general member Mr. Gehendra Gurung highlighted on the improvement of the TOLI performances looking at the different dimension like Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunity and Threats. He also proposed to have 5 years strategy plan. During that time the assembly decided to prepare a 5 years strategy plan of the TOLI as proposed by Mr. Gehendra Gurung.

At the end of the assembly, Mr. Padma Kiran Rana the chairperson of the general assembly, thanked to all who contributed to boost up the TOLI directly and indirectly. He also thanked to the members who were participated in the general assembly and provided the valuable suggestions in different aspects. The GA program was anchored by Mr. Guna Kumar Shrestha the executive member of the TOLI.
